Synopsis

To make a name for herself as the only female performer in the Marrakesh area, Hanane, a young woman from a modest Moroccan village, has raised her own troupe of female riders. The challenges are considerable since fantasia, a festive celebration of equestrian warfare, is a costly and traditionally male-exclusive activity.

In the face of social injustices, clashes with her father, cultural pressures, Hanane fights day after day to make her dream come to life. With bulldozers threatening to tear down her village to build luxury suburbs, she knows she has no time to lose. If she wants to save her family and her horses, she needs to gain recognition. She sets upon taking her troupe to the most prestigious moussem in Morocco, where the best riders in the kingdom compete every year.
